Olé Olé Olé

As soon as I saw these yummy piñata cookies I was desperate to try them! The cute striped cookies have a hidden surprise centre which you can fill with your favourite sweets. That way, when you break it open, the sweets come spilling out - just like a real piñata!
Now to brush up on my baking skills...

Style Paparazzi twenty six

The re-emergence of the sun has definitely eased me back into the week nicely... hopefully it sticks around! So with that firmly in the front of my mind, this weeks post has me coveting summery prints and this little lady's blouse hits the spot. I love the vintage feel to the florals and they sit perfectly with the sunny yellow hue of her jeans - and how about those sunnies!

I scream for Ice Cream

I love this editorial from Vogue Nippon - just can't get enough of all those pastel ice cream colours! If I was brave enough I'd definitely be toying with the idea of dying my hair that gorgeous lilac shade. 

grease lightning

I'm a huge fan of Angus and Julia Stone, their voices are just perfect together. So I was pleasantly surprised to hear the mesmerising tones of Julia on the latest Sky advert. Following in the footsteps of James Vincent McMorrow (another firm artist on my current playlist!) and his cover of the 80's pop song Higher Love being used on the LoveFilm advert, and now Ms Stone can be heard covering the classic finale track from Grease. Just beautiful. 

 

Time for Tea

Mr Teacup knows just how to make his point, by saying it on a mug of course... and teapots. Each item is handpainted using ceramic ink and features quirky quotes and lyrics. My favourite is the Lionel Richie teapot... it would definitely cheer up that daily cup of tea (or two!)

I've had this snap in my inspiration for a while and I still love it as just as much as when I first saw her. I love the mix of the two prints with the navy, red and white to create an american flag feel. She's also made me crave a nude pair of courts - how ladylike!

Snap Happy

I'm wouldn't necessarily call myself a photographer, but I do like taking the odd snap (abeit usually with my iPhone)  but I've fallen in love with these La Sardina cameras from Lomography. Each one is wrapped in a unique, colourful stripey design which reminds me of exotic deck chairs. Perfect for summer! 

Tiger Tiger

I recently stumbled across the gorgeous Tiger magazine, and although I can't read a word of it (it's all in Spanish!) I was drawn in by this stunning editorial. I love the vintage tone to the images and the retro styling looks like she's just stepped right out of the 1960's. Oh and how perfect is the models hair! 

Take flight

I can't get enough of Swedish electro duo, Niki and the Dove at the moment. With a little taste of the likes of Bat for Lashed and Karen O, I'm totally digging lead singer Malin. Press play and get ready for summer!

Hip Hip Hooray...

So a celebration is in order. It was my birthday over the weekend, and after a few cocktail and wine fuelled nights dancing with the girls (along with a hilarious evening spent at a roller disco) I made the journey home to see my parents (and Twin sister... after all it was her birthday too!) to blow out some more candles and inevitably eat more cake. 

What I wasn't expecting was this little beauty waiting for me....

I feel like the luckiest girl in the world!

Oh and how cute are these cupcakes my lovely housemates made for me...
