Knitting Pattern

I absolutely love this work from Izziyana Suhaimi. Not only are her drawing skills absolutely incredible, she's managed to combine this with some intricate embroidery too! The combination of the delicate pencil work and the colourful thread makes for some very pretty art. Beautiful.

Festival Fever

Well it looks like the UK is in full swing of Summer (well for the time being!) and it's got me wanting to grab my tent and head to summer festival.... especially after seeing Olive's latest lookbook.

Wall to Wall

I really love the idea of having an accent wall, but aside from just painting it one block colour my ideas were very limited. That was until I saw some of the amazing wall art from ixxi - it's such a great way to display photos. You can either create a collage of your own photos or use an image from their bank - i'm intrigued by the slightly pixellated style artworks like the Van Gogh!

Style Paparazzi Thirty

I'm still lusting after pastels it seems, my inspiration folder is bursting with ice cream shades! Love how this girl has mixed a pale green, pink and lilac - almost enough to give you a sugar rush! How cute is her little collar and I'm coveting that pleated skirt too...

What's inspiring you this week?

P.s I've popped a few items up on eBay

Little Talks

These guys have been on my radar for a while... and i'm finding it hard to get them off repeat. Of Monsters and Men, who hail from Iceland, describe themselves as an amiable group of day dreamers who craft folkie pop songs - and I love them. It's definitely difficult not to feel cheery after listening to a few tracks.. so hit play.

Green Green Grass

I've not got much patience, so it's safe to say i'm a bit of a failure when it comes to nail art. I'd love to be able to create some fabulous artwork on my fingertips but alas i'm not just not that handy with a pot of nail polish - pun intended!

However, after coming across these fantastic images from Alice Bartlett I have serious nail envy. Her handiwork features teeny tiny little scenes played out on her very own nails.

Candy Pop

Karen Walker's sunglasses campaign is usually one of my favourites - and the latest one is no exception! They always have a wonderful quirky feel and I love the current retro alien theme... not to mention the cute candy colours.
