Cellardoor Needs You...

Some of you might know that I'm the the proud co-editor of a little magazine called Cellardoor. We've been online for 3 years now, and are desperately trying to break out into print! The pages of the magazine are just too pretty (baised, me?) to be confined to your computer screen, and we want you to be able to hold them in your hands too!

This is why we've set up our own crowdfunder page, where you can pledge a small donation to help towards our final target. Your pledges can also get some you pretty great rewards too, such a free copy and maybe even an invite to our launch party!

So if you want to be able to get the chance of nabbing your very own copy of Cellardoor then please check out our pitch here... and don't forget to share the page with your friends!

Time for Tea

Now that the weather has turned a lot colder, there's nothing I enjoy more in the evenings than a nice hot cup of tea. Think that's why i've fallen for Lan Truong's cute illustrations.

What's your wintertime treat?

Meet me where the sidewalk ends.. .

I'm not sure if i'm glad I discovered the new Threadsence lookbook or not... I'm now coveting pretty much everything. I really love the laidback seventies tone with the mix of grungy florals, plaid and that perfect messy wave. Yes please.

Little Black Jacket

I popped into the Saatchi gallery last weekend to catch the latest Chanel exhibition - and I wasn't disappointed!

The Little Black Jacket exhibition includes 113 portraits photographed by Karl Lagerfeld, featuring the likes of Anna Wintour to Kanye West all wearing the iconic garment - in their own unique style!

Definitely an afternoon well spent....

Style Paparazzi Thirty Four

It definitely feels a lot more like Autumn, thanks to the colder temps and unwelcome rain. But one thing cheering me up is the fact I can now wear my chunky scarf again! I love the one on the girl below - how amazing is that cranberry colour - and I love how she's matched it to the colour of her boots too. Paired with the navy of her trouser suit (another gorgeous colour combo!) and the cream of her top and clutch it's making me come over all christmassy.

Sunday Sounds

I've decided to dedicate my Sunday posts to sharing some new music with you lovely readers. My housemate introduced me to this band, and I can't seem to stop listening to them ever since. They sort of remind me a little of Arcade Fire and Of Monsters and Men, which isn't really a bad thing in my book. Perfect Sunday listening.

Click play... I promise they won't disappoint.

Style Paparazzi Thirty Three

So it feels like Autumn is well and truly upon us. I wore my chunky scarf for the first time yesterday and am not happy about seeing my umbrella again! (Take me back to Ibiza please!)
The one thing I am secretly happy about is being able to layer up, I can't wait to load my wardrobe with chunky knits and warm boots. I love how this girl has layered a casual denim shirt with a warm cream jumper and accessorised with tan accessories. I need those boots!

I.B.I.Z.A

Ibiza has never been somewhere I saw myself wanting to spend my holiday, but when the girls suggested a week partying on the white isle, I couldn't really say no could I. The whole clubbing scene has never really interested me, but I absolutely loved it! Spending the day lazing by our own private pool, evenings spent eating amazing food with good friends and then dancing the night away. COuldn't have asked for a more amazing week.

Style Paparazzi Thirty Two

The weather just can't seem to make up it's mind at the moment - not that i'm complaining about the late sunshine! So that's why this week's street style image caught my eye. The long sleeved dress is perfect for transitional dressing and I adore the delicate print - which reminds me of some of my nan's china!

Rooftops

I've never heard of Sessùn before, but after one peek at their latest lookbook I'm definitely coveting the whole collection! Shot on the streets (and rooftops!) of London town, the lookbook perfectly captures the modern vintage tone of the brand. I need to get my mitts on some of those grandad knits pronto!

Drum Roll...

So the blog has taken a bit of a backseat lately, but all for a good cause as I've been busy working my magic on the latest issue of Cellardoor.

Inside you'll find an interview with the talented illustrator Rosie Lovelock, 3 bloggers tell us what's in their suitcase and we list our top summer reads. Not to mention a gorgeous editorial shot on Brighton beach!

So what are you waiting for, turn those pages...

City slicker

It's so hard to keep up with the english weather at the moment, from sweltering heat to downpours, it's far too difficult to get dressed in the morning. However it's meant to be one of the hottest days at the weekend, and myself and my housemates are planning on making the most of the sunshine and getting out and about around London. It's sad to think that i've lived here for over a year and still haven't taken advantage of the amazing parks this city has to offer not to mention the Boris bikes! So that's why we're taking a trip to Richmond park on Saturday and getting our cycle on... can't wait!

Style Paparazzi Thirty One

I'm not usually a formal dresser, my style is far more casual than anything else. I think thats why I love this girl's take on the short suit in chambray. (You can't go wrong with a bit of chambray can you!) Especially how she's paired it with the leopard print clutch. Now just to get those pins...

Olympic Fever

I have to admit that I wasn't really looking forward to London hosting this year's Olympics. Working in the centre of the city, it was safe to say I was dreading the commute to work. (My office is pretty close to Horse Guard's Parade!)

However I've had to eat my words, as I've fully soaked myself in Olympic fever the past 2 weeks. Although I didn't manage to secure any tickets to any of the events, we've whooped and cheered along with Team GB and i'm pretty proud to be right in the middle of things.

I still hate the commute... if you see me please don't ask me for directions!

Are you enjoying the Olympics? Have you managed to see any events?
