Recently came across these vintage movie posters... with a difference. Illustrator Peter Stults has created alternative posters for some modern days movies, if they had been made during previous Hollywood eras. Stults asked “Who would be in it? Who would direct it? and here's what he came up with....

Introducing...
Just thought I'd share the latest issue of Cellardoor that i've been working on. A lot of late nights and hours spend slaving on indesign have paid off once again. So take a peek and let me know what you think...

Tanked Up
Absolutely love this editorial shot by Viktor Vauthier for Tank magazine. It's making me lust after that floral blazer... badly. I'm also longing to cut off my locks again, that long bob is perfect.

Three's company
I've been an avid reader of Company magazine for a long time, probably long before I should have. I first read it for the grown up articles, seeing as I slowly grew out of the cringe stories from Mizz and the school disco make up tips from Bliss. Other than Ellegirl (RIP!) there wasn't anything else out there satisfied my urge for a good magazine, and all my copies sit proudly amongst the other hoards of mags I have managed to accumulate over the years.
Last month saw them launch their new redesign, and after getting over the shock of it shrinking in size (I like something to hold on to!) I have to say I'm loving it... from the fresh new feel right down to the new textured paper. And when the March issue was posted through my letterbox last week it brightened up even the coldest evening. That bright pop of turquoise had me dreaming of my new spring wardrobe!
Are you a Company reader.... what do you think of the new re-design?

ob la di ob la da
I can't stop watching this. I have been completely smitten with the new Victoria Beckham line. Something I never thought I'd ever say. I think the cat's may have something to do with it... oh and the genius that is Quentin Jones. I just love how creative and imaginative it is, not something I would ever have paired with Posh's collection but somehow it works. I've got my eye on that cloud print dress, adorable.

Style Paparazzi Twenty
wow... not done of these in a while so before my street style inspiration folder gets any fuller I thought it would be not rude not to share them with you guys. [Admit it you've missed them]
This girlie caught my eye straight away with her cute red beret, I love the way it adds a little pop of colour. Not to mention the awesome clash of the tartan coat and floral dress. I might dig out my summer florals this week to cheer me up, worn with some thick tights mind... it's arctic out there after all!
What's inspiring you this week?

Time For Tea
I'm a huge typography geek... give me some printed words and I shall be happy. So of course I was smitten with this particular piece work from Nikki Williams - she actually printed it with real tea!
and not content with just tea (because everyone knows a cuppa goes hand in hand with a biscuit) she's also created these biscuit inspired cushions. Perfect!

Dreamland
I recently came across the work of Dominique Franks and I fell in love. I love that they all have that vintage feel and the muted colours convey a sort of dreamscape. I can't wait for summer!

Perfect Pitta Bread Pizzas
So I have a confession... I'm pretty much hopeless when it comes to the kitchen. I've tried to perfect my culinary skills a few times but to be truly honest - I'm just far too lazy. So when I came across the recipe for a pitta bread pizza [which as my friends can vouch for... is probably my favourite food] I was pleasantly surprised. Not only was it easy peasy, I had all the ingredients [all four of them] stocked in the cupboards already.
Just mix some chopped tomatoes with some Italian herbs and spoon onto some pitta breads. Then add some mozzarella and pop in the oven. Voila. Perfect pizzas!

one armed scissor
My ultimate spring wardrobe. Oh Madewell you big tease. I might not be able to leave the house without my fur collared coat and toasty scarf just yet, but I can't stop thinking about their delicious new collection.
