A few weekends ago we popped into the Fashion and Textile museum to take a peek at the Hartnell To Amies exhibition. Once in there, we were transformed back in time with their collection of costumes worn by the royal family from royal designer Hardy Amies and Norman Hartnell. Another afternoon well spent...

Ooh Nan-Na.
Really love these cute illustrations from LA illustrator Nan Lawson, and the fact she loves to draw her favourite TV and movie characters including Star Wars, Mad Men and The Royal Tenebaums. Now, I'm not a huge fan of Doctor Who, but I can definitely appreciate her doodle of Matt Smith!

New Start
It's been a while since I last blogged, and to be honest i've really missed it. That's why i've decided to make one of new year resolutions to keep it updated more often! I've also started to use Instagram properly so what better way to kick off my first post of the new year, than a quick roundup.
- My cute little nephew enjoyed his first Christmas - Some festive treats in the form of these glittery macaroons - My mum surprised me with the rose gold Michael Kors watch - This sleepy ball of fur makes me miss home - There's nothing better than fresh sheets - Took the plunge and got a fringe! - Driving back to London - Wish I could have taken this little guy home with me - Started off the new year with prosecco - Visited the Hartnell to Amies exhibiton at the Fashion and Textile Museum - Some of Hardy Amies notebooks - Probably one of the best hot chocolates i've ever tasted - Boris Bikes - It was a polka dot day - First of the healthy dinners with butternut squash... yum - Getting square eyes whilst trying to finish the next issue of Cellardoor

Cellardoor Needs You...
Some of you might know that I'm the the proud co-editor of a little magazine called Cellardoor. We've been online for 3 years now, and are desperately trying to break out into print! The pages of the magazine are just too pretty (baised, me?) to be confined to your computer screen, and we want you to be able to hold them in your hands too!
This is why we've set up our own crowdfunder page, where you can pledge a small donation to help towards our final target. Your pledges can also get some you pretty great rewards too, such a free copy and maybe even an invite to our launch party!
So if you want to be able to get the chance of nabbing your very own copy of Cellardoor then please check out our pitch here... and don't forget to share the page with your friends!

Time for Tea
Now that the weather has turned a lot colder, there's nothing I enjoy more in the evenings than a nice hot cup of tea. Think that's why i've fallen for Lan Truong's cute illustrations.
What's your wintertime treat?

Meet me where the sidewalk ends.. .
I'm not sure if i'm glad I discovered the new Threadsence lookbook or not... I'm now coveting pretty much everything. I really love the laidback seventies tone with the mix of grungy florals, plaid and that perfect messy wave. Yes please.

Little Black Jacket
I popped into the Saatchi gallery last weekend to catch the latest Chanel exhibition - and I wasn't disappointed!
The Little Black Jacket exhibition includes 113 portraits photographed by Karl Lagerfeld, featuring the likes of Anna Wintour to Kanye West all wearing the iconic garment - in their own unique style!
Definitely an afternoon well spent....

Style Paparazzi Thirty Four
It definitely feels a lot more like Autumn, thanks to the colder temps and unwelcome rain. But one thing cheering me up is the fact I can now wear my chunky scarf again! I love the one on the girl below - how amazing is that cranberry colour - and I love how she's matched it to the colour of her boots too. Paired with the navy of her trouser suit (another gorgeous colour combo!) and the cream of her top and clutch it's making me come over all christmassy.
What's inspiring you this week?

I love drinking tea out of fun mugs... who says it has to be boring eh. I love these ones from Silly little tea cups (what a great name!) They'd make a great addition to my collection!
